Known internationally as “The World’s Foremost Mentalist”, The Amazing Kreskinhasalso become a training consultant to law enforcement and security personnel throughout the United States. In a time when police and security personnel are needed at their peak performance levels, The Amazing Kreskin has engaged on a tour to help these guardians of our safety to become more prepared to face the threats they encounter on a daily basis. In a program coined “ICOPS”, Kreskin teaches the basics to help law enforcement and security officers increase their “intuitive” skills to better cope with their day to day on the job situations. Intuitive Cops Observational Preparedness Seminars are an opportunity for law enforcement officials at all levels to learn more about the human thought process, gain insight into human behavioral actions and learn how to better evaluate threatening situations. Audience participation is the best means to convey the existence of enhanced mental abilities and give those in attendance an opportunity to have an actual “hands on” experience. Attendees will leave the seminar with information and methods to improve their own powers of observation and “intuitive” skills. The Amazing Kreskin will not attempt to make believers out of skeptics, but rather to help you examine the potential use of your own mental powers in solving cases and learn how to “tune in” to your own intuition when dealing with daily law enforcement situations. He is not a psychic and will not be foreseeing the future or "speaking with the dead." Although, by the time the seminar is over, you will look upon the powers of intuition with a completely different appreciation. In the future, law enforcement agencies may have an "intuitive cop" or an "ICOP" as we have coined the name, assigned to specific investigative duties and cases. It is the intent of the seminars to help all law enforcement personnel to better enforce the law and protect themselves, thus allowing them to better protect the communities they serve.
THE “ICOPS” PROGRAM INCLUDES:
The “ICOPS” program is approximately 2 hours long, with a break between sessions.
The Amazing Kreskin will present and discuss the seminar using the 4 following methods:
Define the difference between “intuitives,” “sensitives,” “psychics,” “ESP”, and hypnosis with demonstrations of the use of “intuitive” abilities with law enforcement attendees.
Explain how law enforcement personnel can benefit from an increased level of intuitive ability by giving examples of how it can be used in day to day law enforcement and investigation. Kreskin will discuss what to look for in the following type situations: When you stop a car and approach it, when you are questioning a suspect or a witness, or when you are patrolling and get a gut feeling to follow a “suspicious vehicle or subject. He will also discuss how you can improve your interrogating and interviewing skills. He will review how you can detect honest answers from dishonest answers. Kreskin will also explain how you can improve your observation skills and how to react to your own "intuitive" feelings.
Demonstrate examples of increased intuitive ability with group participation.
Kreskin will demonstrate examples that show the concept that he is teaching and how realistic they are by:
1. An assembly. Perhaps having a participant select a card. Kreskin will show why the highly experienced poker player has some of the abilities that benefit a law enforcement investigator. Kreskin will show how he can detect the cards or value of a card a person is holding just as it would take place at a poker game but with greater accuracy. The same accuracy that has caused him to be banned in casinos around the world.
2. He will demonstrate how he can detect if a person is lying, simply by the sound of their voice, without looking at them. It will be a challenge for those attending as they observe to see if they detect the same small changes that Kreskin will be looking for.
Teach law enforcement/security personnel how to attain an increased level of intuitive ability. (Provide them with mental exercises, observational awareness techniques, ongoing self testing means and methods. Group participation and demonstration is important here too with a question and answer period to close the seminar.) In a group demonstration, Kreskin will condition the members using a very special technique of deep relaxation, which they will then learn how to use as a tool in their day-to day work and lives. It will begin in the first hour and will complete itself in the second hour;
1.Kreskin will show the investigator how he or she can employ techniques to re-examin certain situations. In sight of the audience, he will take a group of people and show how they themselves will reveal when they are lying.
2. Kreskin will explain how even something as unique as dreams can at times be a tool for the law enforcement investigator. He will show how it is important to know not only how the investigator thinks or expresses himself, but how the witnesses think and express themselves including the way they recall details and whether it is more visual than auditory, etc. This is a very important tool which the investigator will learn to understand and use in bonding with a suspect, a hostage, a potential victim, etc., and is the key to soliciting greater participation of a positive nature as the investigator sees the need.
Kreskin will conclude each seminar with a question/answer period.
BIOGRAPHY OF THE AMAZING KRESKIN
With a showman’s flair, a comedians wit, and capacities of a bona fide Mentalist, The Amazing Kreskin has, for over five decades, dramatized the unique facets of the human mind.
THE EARLY YEARS
Born in Montclair New Jersey, it was during childhood games at the age of 5, that Kreskin’s remarkable ability to find hidden objects emerged. This fascinating and unusual gift made him stand out among his peers, forcing him to assume the role of omniscient observer. From this point of view, Kreskin was able to harness and refine his gift and began to perform for neighborhood children. At the age of eleven, Kreskin revealed an uncanny determination beyond his years when he received permission to study the entire psychology section of his local public library. Kreskin credits the childhood influence of “Mandrake the Magician” comic books, radio/television pioneer Arthur Godfrey, and magnetic televangelist Bishop Sheen for the direction of his career.
By his teens, he was nationally recognized as “The World’s Youngest Hypnotist” allowing him to collaborate in psychological clinical studies existing in the realm of Parapsychology and the Power of Suggestion. From his early experiments, Kreskin developed a theory into his special talent; “In most cases, the phenomena of thought transference can be explained as a kind of hyperaesthesia –an almost unconscious raising of the threshold of one’s senses to a degree far exceeding one’s everyday feelings.”
With a hectic schedule of over 300 appearances a year worldwide, Kreskin is constantly challenging the impossible with amazing results. Perhaps one of the greatest challenges came on the 50th anniversary celebration of the original broadcast of “The War of the Worlds. Kreskin was challenged to recreate the effects of the legendary Orson Welles 1938 original radio broadcast which created international panic. Kreskin used his finely tuned powers of suggestion to persuade spectators that Martian spacecrafts had returned to their fabled landing site of Grover's Mill, New Jersey. The Associated Press reported: “Kreskin promised the most amazing stunt of his career. To those who witnessed the mass hysteria , he succeeded.”
Music has also served as an effective medium for Kreskin, who made his professional debut as a pianist at Carnegie Hall with Skitch Henderson and the New York Pops, subsequently soloing as a guest artist with Symphonies throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Kreskin is currently writing his thirteenth book, his long awaited and anticipated memoirs. Kreskin is also a voracious reader capable of consuming an average novel in less than 15 minutes with remarkable retention. In fact, in certain casinos, he is banned from the card tables, not, they say, because of his mind reading skills, but because of Kreskin’s ability to memorize four decks of cards at once!
